I drew this after watching the Little Mermaid a lot. Sometimes I just regress like that, watching movies that I used to when I was a kid. I think it's due to some sort of over-nostalgic disorder in me, heh...Hopefully the rock doesn't look like a big pile of stinky..ah, yeah. As with most of my work, completely unreferenced...bah.
Very nice! I love the colors, especially that iridescent tail fin. I really like your shading style, too, realistic yet cartoony. Gives it a good effect. Cool stuff. And pretty. Nice work.
