Dib Meets the Vasquez Cat by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)
Hmm, this is an odd little drawing, yes? But I’m an odd little person heh heh. Basically, this is a parody drawing based on an Invader Zim parody/humor fanfic called ‘Dib in Wonderland’ (That's a link by the way, just incase you're curious) Here, Dib meets up with the Vasquez Cat and he looks pretty disturbed by it (I guess I would be too). Personally, I think Jhonen looks good in stripes and whiskers ^_^ But aside from that, this pic was also an experiment with black marker that I wanted to try; as you can see most of the drawing is done in black (NO! Really!?). I was going to color the tree brown, but then I finished the shading and I thought the white looked so cool by itself, kinda like a blacklight poster, and it made it look somehow more eerie so I left it blank. Hee hee! ^.^ I just really really like this pic ^-^ It turned out surprisingly better than I'd hoped... Now if there were only something I could do about this mental psychosis of mine... Have I mentioned I love your work lately? I'm reading Dib in Wonderland and...yes...you rock. YOU SO DAMN ROCK! The story is so IC and this artwork...this artwork is FABULOUS. It's so perfectly done and the blackness creates a PERFECT effect. I...I love you. ^.~

shivers this may sound dumb but I've always been freightened by the cheshire cat, and the jhonen cat is actually in opinion kinda eerie. But in the fic hes nice^_^! I love the colors, and I printed this and brought it into my room, (which is covered in Taryns art!) and turned on my blacklight, and it has a black light effect! Cool, no? Well, now this is yet another one of the pictures Taryns drawings i've posted on my bedroom wall, and it makes my room look damn cool to have such awesome IZ pics everywhere, but the Vasquez cat always seems to hypnotize people into wanting to spend hours in my room with the black light on, lol. Well, you never fail to amaze me Taryn, bye bye now!
