Same comment with everyone else, where is her tail ? Dang I forgot the tail and the backgrounds well... I just like to keep it simple, besides I'm not very good with backgrounds. There are times people use backgrounds to cover the whole thing up and not show the real art .... or at least that's what I think.:). I just like to keep my works neat, clean and simple... simplicity is beauty.

She is really adorable. That pose is just too precious! I love the oranges. I'm really impressed with how creative this is--though I do agree, she needs a tail. I love the innocent look in her eyes--she is just precious! That is the only word that describes how cute she is, so forgive me for overusing it.
As for backgrounds, I think they can add a lot to an image--although for yours, you really don't need anything spectacular. I think a simple shape behind her, like a large pale colored oval, would do just fine to stand her apart from the plain white. Patterns can also be cute--you just have to be careful to choose one that isn't small. Anything in a background for a simple pose like this would have to be big so it doesn't distract from her. Another trick would be to just draw in a small shadow around her feet to show the ground she's standing on. That trick seems to be used by Satoshi Urushihara (don't know if you've heard of him, Legend of Langrisser character designs feature simple poses like this and then shadows rather than backgrounds) and it seems to work well for him.
Again, I am truly impressed with your color job. You have your light sources clearly figured out (something I only recently realised I have trouble with!) and the highlights are all in the right places. I am impressed. :)

Ohh! So awesome! I love cat girls! I'm obsessed wit' drawing them although compared to your cat girls...yeah. It's such a cute pose! And for some reason, after looking at this pic, I got the some "Darling Clementine" stuck in my head....I wonder why... LOL ^_^

Super cute, etc, etc, same as everyone else said above me . . but I noticed something after looking at this pic awhile, and it's kinda driving me nuts.
No, not the tail.
o.O; . . . why does she have four ears? She's got two pairs, one human and one pair kitty ears. Was that intentional?
That's really cute. Haha. So cute it's going to burn out my retinas if I stare out it for too long. It burnssss.
Love how shiney her skin looks. I love shiney things. Especially shiney hair. Too bad her hair isn't that shiney. Still very nice though. The simple shading and highlighting suits the picture. She portrays absolute innocence. And do I see panties? Yes I do! XD Haha. Panties are fun. [I'm slightly crazy, by the way].
I love her cute little shoes and how her feet are facing inwards. That pose always seems to be really cute. The figure, coloring and pose is great. My only complaint.... Where's the tail?
I'm sure this would look great with a background. But the background lackingness also keeps the picture very simplistic. Good job.
