To My Beloved Taka
To My Beloved Taka by @Obsidian_Wolfess (Anna Tykowski)

Taka.. What can I say about you? You were a good little hamster, and I'll really miss you.. Thanks for all of the laughs, little buddy. Enjoy your final rest..

For the majority of you who didn't know, my hamster, Taka, died this morning. At least I drew him with one of his favorite foods, a peanut.. I'm extremely upset because he lasted a mere five months, not nearly enough time to share with him. I just hope that he died peacefully. I would have wanted that for him more than anything..

I have a feeling he was in pain for a while, because he started squeeking a little at night, and he never did before. He also lost weight and stopped eating.. Today we were supposed to bring him to the vet, but it was just too late..

To a great companion, I love and miss you..
