Junicorn 2022 #27 - Ocean by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)
An ocean unicorn is a frequent sight on the beaches of this world. It is believed that they represent an extension of the consciousness of the oceans themselves and are not classified as one of the major types of unicorn. They act like they are patrolling shorelines, very rarely stepping far from the incoming waves unless necessary. They are mostly benevolent, carefully removing humans expressing distress while swimming in the ocean or rising to a populated area to deposit trash found in the water. Their bodies have a greenish tint due to the ocean's contents. Since they are made of water, they are of little use to poachers. Local children, however, occasionally like to throw rocks or shoot arrows at them for fun. Ocean unicorns do not express harm from this, but it has been noted that they will stop and stare down humans doing things to them, which has been taken as a sign of irritation at worst. If a human persists, an ocean unicorn will give chase until the offender turns and runs in fear."
I decided to use this one to experiment with trying to imitate water rather than make a solid figure. I probably could have tried distorting things behind the unicorn, but, for my first time, I like how it looks.
