Have you used this medium before? You've really taken a great jump in quality and style here, in my opinion. The body looks beatifully rounded, the fabric, while transparent, has some nice texture to it, and something about the stylized eye makes the expression really intriguing.

That hair might need some more work--Idunno how "finished" you feel you are with this, but perhaps www.rebekahlynn.com 's hair-shading tutorial might be of interest of you for your next image.

Thanks for sharing--you did a lovely job on this one!

Thanks! thats very helpful. Yes, i have used pastel before, but its never been one of my primary mediums. im fond of good ol' pencil. This tends to be a popular peice, although it was mainly an experiment with the see-throughy material across her shoulders. Some of the biggest critiques i have gotten have been about her hair and facial structure, and although im rather fond of my own personal warped representation of features, i certainly was not very pleased with how the hair came out. thanks for the comment!

This is very beautiful, and somewhat different looking to most of the other images in your gallery. Love the soft, roundness of her body, you coloured it perfectly. Wonderful effect with the transparency of the material, love the way it drapes and folds.

This is by far my favorite pic in your gallery. What kind scanner do you have? That comes out so much better than anything in my gallery. You've got to be a professional...
