Jonah
Jonah by @rai (Rachel Witter)

Just a simple computer doodle I did a couple of weeks ago e_e; some of you may have noticed some old characters reappearing with new designs and what not.. I'm trying to redo an' old story and possibly turn it into an online manga (we'll be lucky if I ever get that far 0_0) .. anyways, tis Jonah, he's a little guy physically (maybe 10 or 11) but emotionally he's old and tired (I guess that's a good way to put it)... I tried to convey that in his expression, putting lines around the eyes, that sort of thing, but those look really really out of place on a kid... e_e;;

Love the colors in his hair. It's weird. In the thumbnail, his eyes look alright, but up close, he looks cross-eyed.

Maybe, instead of making his eyes/expression so alert, show the tiredness by the expression (eyes not quite so wide-open, maybe half-lidded?) and posture -- maybe looking a little downwards rather than straight ahead.

I sit in awe of your cel-shading, tho.
