Official design of Ruby, another character that'll be in my future comic project, Footprints! These were studies to help me create a personality that's fit for her. Need to work on it more. Also, a little peak at Zeke's son, Lucas. He's an adorable little one, ain't he?
Anyway, Ruby is a charming husky and treats her childhood neighborhood always as a family. She's currently dating Razor, has awkward encounters with Zeke due to their lack of interaction, and trying to make ends meet working full time.

You better believe it, hehe! Definitely inspired from Jenna cause she's a cute dog in that movie. Tried my best to design her differently so that she don't appear to be a copy of her. My more current artworks of her have a better design to her than this, but I'm glad you like it!

Oh, I believe it alright! Haha! I haven’t seen that movie in years, but I do remember some parts of it; including Jenna! Oh yeah, I know that feeling all too well! I actually have several characters who were inspired by others, but trying to design and write them in a way that doesn’t completely copy their inspiration can be pretty tricky. But it’s not impossible, and it feels rewarding when you managed to find that perfect line between making them unique enough to be a completely different character and paying homage to their original source material!
