Peace, Love, and the Paranormal by @2001_Dibs (Emerald Scythe)

Dib as a hippie. I think it should be rated E (unless bubbles offend), but I'm paranoid right now (moreso than casual use of the word). This has an interesting story to it, as a matter of fact. Here goes:

You see, at my school, for the creative writing department, Tim Powers, who is an instructor, was making a T-shirt that had a snail with a pipe that had smoke coming out of it. But, the administration wouldn't allow that, so he had to change the smoke to bubbles. So I put bubbles in. For Dib here, he doesn't have a pipe or anything, so it makes no sense--but that's why I like it.

I did this as a rough sketch yesterday Thursday the 13th of April, while at a friend's house. I intend to draw a larger version of this that will be inked in, but this was my sketch to make sure that what I saw in my head didn't get horribly distorted when translated to paper via my pencil and hand controlling the pencil.

Now, there was someone's side7 art that inspired the idea of Dib as a hippie, even though my version has him older and sitting on a beanbag--WHICH REMINDS!!!

The reason it says Hippie Dib on a Yellow Beanbag is that this I drew on yellowy-orangey paper, which was the only non-lined paper my friend had there. And, of course, Yellow Submarine. So, really, it's a yellow Dib on a yellow beanbag. I just didn't know the scanner would ignore the yellow background.
