I didn't think I could pull it off, but I've had a few people talk to me about it, and they've had nothing but good tosay about it so far. I saw my previous school counselor's daughter today in school, and she had a portfolio with her. She's majoring in the same thing I am when I attend college; graphic arts. It was interesting to see some of the things she'd done, and this project was one of them. She had to take 4-6 different shades of a color (she chose orange), use a photo of herself, put it on PSP, use the "Artistic- Cutout" filter, print it out, and use it to cut out different parts of paper to make it look like her in paper pieces. Well... I was inspired to do that as well, and this is the result. I'm very proud of how this turned out, especially for my very first time doing it x.x As you can see, I chose blue, my favorite color, and used one of my senior pictures as the picture to make my portrait. It took me a total of 3 and 1/2 hours to do it, but I really enjoyed it! I hope you all like it!
Wow this is really posterised and pop art like, reminds me of the Che Guevara poster. Interesting and effective technique, and I think blue would work the best, so great choice! Hair looks groovy!
