@fragmented_imagination: LOL so it's kind of a long story but okay so, on chicken smoothie oekaki, you can save "drafts" of drawings to an archive that you can pull from another time if you don't want to start a drawing from scratch later. this archive is usually private to your account, but one user decided to screenshot theirs and show it to their friend group, because they had an absolutely insane number of drafts saved (like over 800.) one of those drafts was just a sketch of a carrot and their friends were like LOL WHY DID YOU DRAW A CARROT, but they couldn't remember. so then as a joke, everyone in their friend group decided to draw a carrot for fun. 

HOWEVER, because that group chat only had a few people in it and everyone else on CS had no idea what the context was, people just started seeing drawings of carrots popping up with no discernible origin and thought it was just a random joke to draw a carrot, and yknow how much the internet loves random jokes. so it just spread like wildfire for a few days until the friend group finally realized what was going on and posted the explanation 😂
