[I do appreciate that you think I could illustrate kids' books though! c': I don't currently do them because the uhh publishing industry is very exploitative when it comes to illustrators and I'd rather just put my time towards my own projects for the time being. but it's a lovely idea that I'm open to if the opportunity arises!]

I will admit I have a very large fondness for children's story book style artwork cause it harkens back to my kindergarten days when pictures like this would adorn the walls of my classroom and carboard skeletons and rubber bats hung from the ceiling, it was a reminder of a single day was coming where you COULD take candies from strangers and you got to dress up like your favorite super hero, villian or monster and walk around with friends.
Such simple happy times and this picture does a LOT to bring back old memories.
