Although some trees tend to have leaves in other colors (orange/red/yellow) depending on the season. For me, what made the "alien tree" effect was the twisted trunk. Good job!

A venture into coloring, which is not my strong suit. The inspiration comes from bonsai trees but I wanted a different color for leaves than the traditional green. Cherry blossoms came to mind, however I went with more vibrant shades leaning towards fuchsia rather than the softer pink tones of cherry blossoms. It’s not perfect. I need to practice more with colored pencils and better understand how to utilize them properly.

I like this. It's exotic, almost alien, and the colors make it look excellent. It feels like this should be an actual tree somewhere.
