Yeah, I didn't show you this one because I did it pretty much all in one day (well, the coloring took a couple, but from sketch to inking it was pretty much one class period ;p. I agree with what you said about the smudgyness...it's hard to get it to look right, especially with the mouse and my sucky program. Anyway, I'm glad youlike ^_^
Nobody's Angel by @aeryaval (Aeryn Avalon)
I don't know who she is or where she came from...I just drew her one day during lunch, and there's something in her huge, innocent eyes that I really like. For some reason I gave her a large number of piercings shrug This is my second attempt at coloring on the computer. IT's very, very difficult, because I dont have a wacom tablet or Photoshop, just an eight-year-old mouse that sticks and Photostudio, which has very limited options in regerds to coloring. IT's mostly for photo touch-ups and effects. So it took me a very long time and a lot of work, using only the airbrush tool, filler bucket, and smudge tool, but here's the finished product. I dont' think I shaded her skin as well as I would ahve liked, and my attempt and blue lighting came out kinda funny, but I do like her eyes, the color and the life they have to them. I had intended her wings to be black, but they came out as kind of a smoky grey, which I think I like better. I wrote a poem that goes along with her...but I think I lost it. If I ever find it, I'll put it up here. For now, enjoy.

Thank you! I really like drawing eyes, that's probably why I tend to make them a little too large for the face at times ;p. It's just fun. You like my noses? Haha, i think I suck at noses, but if you like them that's great. Thanks for being a faithful commentor! ^_^
Wow! I didn't see this one yet! Not even the sketch--you've been holding out on me, girl! This is really beautiful--I do like her soft, innocent eyes--the shocking violet color of them and the matching eyeshadow (I'm totally going to do that to my eyes sometime!) really make this image gorgeous. I love her forlorn expression.
I don't think you messed up on the shading, at all. The only thing that could've been improved would perhaps be a light (very, very light, like 1% transparency) blue filter over this image, but that will have to wait until you get a new, BETTER computer and Adobe Photoshop. :)
I am really impressed with how you blurred the feathers, too. That looks so sweet!!! My one suggestion for what you can do would be to keep the lines cleaner--these are a liiiiittle bit smudgey in some areas. Keep 'em sharp, it emphasizes the softness of the shading more.
In the thumbnail, she looks so haunted... Very cool. Very YOU.
