Hmm! Her book would be a good white-thing, thanks for the suggestion. :D (I kinda tried to balance the white with the sig, but I agree it's not quite enough.)

I'm doing it in Painter7 with tablet, o'course. :) Canvas = background color. Then in black, Pens> Scratchboard Tool in various layers so I can go back and change the pose if something's not working (without messing up what was already drawn). Also, if you need to erase, try the Flat Eraser 'cause it'll get the lines pretty solid rather than blurry edges. For details, you can either erase, or you can just add another layer and use the background color and the scratchboard tool and just leave the layer on Default. (Hopefully this all made sense!)
