This is a very intriguing pic. I can't wait to see how the final version comes out.

I really like the pose--the bow is a very interesting idea, especially for as spooky a character as this one. I think it would be a little more visually interesting, and show off more of the character, if you had his left arm extended from his side--making it a little more dramatic of a bow. Also, having his ears directly on top of his head now would make them come out of the very base of his skull, were he standing upright. If they are positioned like normal ears, they would really be a little bit above the eyes.

I'm really impressed with the design of his feet. The muscle tone of them is very nice, but it makes his actual thighs look off in comparison. Add some more curves in the line of his thighs--like a slight dip before the knee starts. Also, his leg looks like it doubles over underneath his thigh before it starts coming towards the ground. Work on the connection of his knee to his foreleg. The forearm holding the hat looks a little long, but so does his upper arm, which makes me think that maybe he just has really long arms. The last thing that looks a tad off is his crotch. Uhm, I can't really give you advice on that. o.O I don't normally draw male characters.

I REALLY love the character design, and the whole idea behind this pic is very interesting. I would be very interested in seeing the finished version, and I really hope my humble critique can help you a little. See you on the message board!

Thanks again liliwagn, once again you have proven yourself to be incredibly helpful! So far everyone has given me advice on the legs, and I cleaned those up quite a bit, but you finally gave me a solution to that arm problem I was having. I wasn't sure if I wanted his arm behind him or not, and your suggestion sounds a lot better.

I have an updated version that I'm going to upload now, and a character sheet of this character. I'm probably going to shorten his arms now, because it seems to annoy everyone :p
