I"m quite glad you like. Yeah, I know her profile sucks, but I'm proud of the expression in her eye, kind of a longing...and I do like the colors, too. ^_^
Autumn Breeze by @aeryaval (Aeryn Avalon)
This little faery sits atop a pedestal, where he can feel the cool breeze as the leaves swirl around her. Watercolor and pearlescent ink, which once again didn't show up in the scan. Inspired by the work of the wonderful Amy Brown

Another lovely piece. I definitely see the Amy Brown influence, though your piece, and your style in general, is a little bit softer than the sharpness of hers. Both have their merits, of course, but it does make yours unique to you while still showing your influences. The green leaves are kind of throwing me off since the rest of the picture has such a warm color scheme, but at the same time it's a nice break from the rest, so I'm not quite sure what to make of them. I like the longing expression as well, it works very well with the pose. Very pretty. A real pleasure to look at.
I really like the pose, and i also really like the wings. you seem to do very well with bright and vibrant colors, especially red. some things to note, the arms seem really stiff, and the head seems like it's too blocky or something?? sorry i can't be of more help, i really do like the picture, good job.
Sincerely, Ikaika
This is one of my favorites of your paintings. I was really surprised at how much it looked like an Amy Brown work, but in your own special style (anyone who didn't know you would swear it was copied). Even with all that, this is still somehow a really original piece.
What jumps out at me the most is the colors, of her wings and the leaves in the background. Her profile is a little wonky--you know you need to work on them. :) So do I. I'd comment on more of the pic, but right now, my computer is being anal and only loading it halfway. So... I love you, you're pretty.
