Yeah, same. Computers used to be cool and have personalities.

@ragukokarn: fun fact: Commodore's bankruptcy did help make Microsoft Windows took over the world a year later

Yeah, mostly caused by putting their very last effort and money into the CD32 console that flopped horribly.
Not true. CBM failed because of the idiocy and greed of the upper management. The consolized Amiga CD32 was too little too late, as with any meaningful update to the Amiga line. The CD32 actually sold modestly well in Europe... for the short time they were able to sell it.

That's BS. By the 90's, the IBM-Apple juggernauts grew so big in the American markets, that the Amiga or any other computer platform was just a small niche at best. Yeah, in Europe the Amiga was much more popular, and even fter bankruptcy I have heard of a few hardcore holdouts who had souped up Amiga builds as their main computer well into the early '00s. But I highly doubt that in Europe the mainstream could have resisted the treds coming from Amercia. Sad reality.
@dustsucker2099: Fair enough. I put that a bit weird for the sake of conversation without any nuance. My bad.
The other quote is not by me but seems like an opinon rather than fact.
@ragukokarn: Recent times I have seen many people claiming that "Commodore went bankrupt because of the CD32 was a bad failed console", and it irks me because it's not true. (Yeah, Imma nerd.)
And for the latter part, yeah I wanted to address to both comments with one reply, but forgot to add @Masonicon.
Man, I miss Amigas.
