Raptorfoot by @Agondray

During my time in high school, I took some art classes in the hopes that it would help me become a better artist. One of things we did for said art classes were weekly sketches. Essentially, we would do sketches or drawings in a page of our sketchbooks, and turn them in at least by Thursday to receive the full extra credit. You were allowed to draw anything you like, so long as it was school appropriate.

The first of these sketches I did was of one my own characters, Raptorfoot(real creative name, I know). I based his design off of the velociraptors from ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park’. His name is a technically a mix between ‘raptor’ and ‘Bigfoot’; and the reason for that is because I had dinosaurs and Bigfoot on the mind when I was trying to come up with a name for the character and the comic.

Raptorfoot was the first character of mine that I ever made a series on, even though they were little side projects of mine at the time. I won’t go super in-depth into it, but basically the comic is a mostly slice-of-life story that follows Raptorfoot and his friends and family as they go through life in a world where dinosaurs are people and all other kinds of prehistoric creatures are animals. I do plan on redoing the comics on a digital format, but I need to practice more digital art in general before it goes anywhere.

This is just one of at least two dozen other sketches I made during my time in the art classes in high school, so expect more on the way!
