Hero Forge - Captain Reynaud by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)
Back in December I stumbled on Hero Forge, which seems to be the best-quality and fullest-featured custom miniature maker on the Web. How I found it is lost to memory, but I had so much fun with it that I bit the bullet and registered an account, as it lets you save mockups for free.
Because, inevitably, I'll push things to their limit. Sadly, while they have the right hat, it can't be configured in a satisfactory way to prevent ugly clipping. It was around this time I learned how custom colours worked, and the possibilities really opened up.

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: Oof, I know that feel: before Eclipse scuttled my curating scheme, I'd been struggling through a years-long list of works to fav on dA. I rather foolishly maintained it in the browser history, so that got canned when the laptop crashed in 2021, and with how completely broken the on-site search is now, I can't even call up the titles I do remember. :/
On the one hand, I can only imagine what sort of antics my old D&D group would've done had Hero Forge been around a couple decades earlier. On the other, we probably would've bankrupted ourselves. :P
@Thorvald: HAH! I will have to show you a pic of my Metal D&D dice set some time wasn't cheap either, I also have a original first release adventurers kit from 1988 boxed up as well. But yeah I had plans to make my character Kaize into a figurine so I was planning on purchasing one these figures and figure out how to mold it into my own character.
Hey, nice :0
