Got in a Dragon drawing mood.. so I'm playing with designs. I colored this one with colored pencils and then touched it up a little on the computer.

Solid gold/yellow is too unnerving to me so it's mostly mixed other things in there -_-

This is beautiful! I really like the glowing eye effect. The colors you used really make this image jump out--the gold and purple and blue are so pastel and pretty. I think you've done a great job of turning a simple sketch into an image that really stands alone and looks quite finished.

The only part that I don't like is the areas where it seems like you erased to clean up the messy? areas. I think that those areas are important--they add texture and don't distract very much. But this is a great sketch--very good.
