Sirocco
Sirocco by @Wren (S.A. Skinner)

This is an image that has been knocking around in my brain since I was about 16 and was inspired by my recurring dreams about tornados. Each time I dream about a tornado, some great upheaval happens in my life; I move, I get a job, I lose a job, I lose a loved one, I find someone special, or some other occurance throws my whole life out of whack. It's been redrawn about half a dozen times and each time the mood and expression of the woman in the whirlwind changes. Over the course of the last 14 years, she has gone from arrogance to malice, from pain to despair, and from apathy finally to ecstasy. I think that if i ever redraw her again (and somehow i have a feeling I will) her expression next time will be one of serene calm.

That is a really interesting concept. Have you ever tried putting them side by side by side, chronologically? That could be interesting, both to see art skill progression, and emotional changes throughout your life.

I also like the colors in this. Thanks for sharing!
