~ Cover her face; Mine eyes dazzle; she died young. ~

These are the words spoken by Lestat to/about Claudia, the child vampire. Colored on computer...photoshop I believe. It's been a while. >_< lol She was supposed to be holding Crysanthymums but I couldn't draw them, so I drew MY favorite flower instead; the calla lily. I know this is the same description as the rough drawing but I"m sorry, I can't think of anything original.

I really, really like this one! You've captured Claudia so well--the pose and blank, yet smug, expression really suit this character. I am impressed with the shading as well, though I think some highlights could bring out more three-dimensionality. Also, a background would improve this image a lot, but I understand that it's an older one so I doubt you still want to work on it. It's a really good piece, overall, I look forward to seeing the rest of your work!

Thanks. ^^ Claudia was interesting to draw, I tried to capture her rare lost-in-thoughts mood. I agree I should've worked a little more of the highlights/shading but I had a mouse and I was just wanted it done. lol I don't think I'll work on this piece, I might sketch her newly altogether. nods But thank you. ^^
