anyways, her name is Judith - sometimes just called Jude - and she's a super Christian cannibal who eats people as a way to get closer to the saints of the past and atone for her sins.

there's a decent amount of religious symbolism in this art piece so I'll break it down: - the open palm hand is supposed to signify absence of evil and graceful thoughts, as well as righteousness - the shirt is an off-white, and technically yellow. White symbolizes the purity of the soul, innocence, and holiness. However, since her shirt is yellow it symbolizes divine radiance, revelation, and revealed truth. It can also symbolize deceitfulness and betrayal. Basically, she disguises her betrayal to her partners as an absence of evil, which she believes to be a revealed truth. - Red is the color of love, anger, passion, and blood. Kind of self-explanatory, since she wears those traits about herself on her sleeve. - The lily is a symbol of purity, chastity, and simplicity. Something she wants to embody so badly. - The sunburst halo is exclusively used for blessed people's heads, which ties into how she perceives herself.
