One of my very last completed CGs...I just found it after forgetting I even had it. ^^;;; Now, this picture here is not JUST a sexy picture of Felicia but it actually has a purpose, though it hasn't been realized yet. A few years ago, after drawing patriotic 4th of July fanart for one my most favorite arcade shooters (yes, ARCADE, because I never cared much for the NES version), Capcom's 1943: The Battle of Midway, I got the idea to actually BUILD a P-38 Lightning, the backbone of the whole 194X series. Of course, just building an off-the-shelf model of said plane didn't automatically make it "the plane from 194X". It needed... Something more... So, I decided to draw a Capcom flavored piece of noseart to go on the model! Originally, I was going to just use a cute headshot of Roll but in the end went with Felicia. :p Alas... While I got the model kit, I've never actually had the time to put it together yet... ^^;;; Especially since it's not as simple as many of my mecha models. Anyway, once its completed, I plan to take this picture in PSD form over to Kinkos and see if they can print a sticker from it that I can then put on the model itself! ^^ BTW, those of you wondering what Nose Art is... During WWII, it was a common practice for the flight crews and pilots of various types of planes to paint sexy, half naked, or completely naked pictures of girls on the noses of their planes and then christen the plane with the girl's name.
EE! That is such a great idea. I remember seeing things about the pilots painting girls on their planes on the History Channel. I never thought about what it would be like doing that anime-style! So cool! And this pic would be awesome to have on a model. That is SUCH an awesome idea! I should make a skekshy amine girl sticker to put on my car... but then people might think I was gay. :( Anyways, I really like the shading in this pic. Her hair especially looks really cool!
