A Midsummer Night's Dream
A Midsummer Night's Dream by @aeryaval (Aeryn Avalon)

Obviously inspired by the Shakespeare play. She's not any particular character...when I drew this, I pictured a young man wandering away from a party and coming across a beautiful faery woman in the forest. She runs off, and he chases her deeper and deeper into the forest. Eventually, exhausted, he falls asleep beneath a tree. WHen he wakes in the morning, he wonders if the beautiful woman he encountered was real, or only a dream brought on by the midsummer heat. Done in mechanical pencil. I had meant to draw some trees and whatnot behind her, but like I mentioned I'm bad at drawing trees >.<

This is so pretty! Your shading is done wonderfully! I can't believe you did that with a mechanical pencil. Great job with the details in her dress and hair. They look so soft. Nice job! =)
