what is beauty?
what is beauty? by @damistee (Heather Steele)

i dont really like the background, but i dont really care. content was the main purpose of this, and because of that, its probably one of my favorites. i had a bunch of different things i could've said about this, but i'm more interested in what other people feel when they see it. feedback = much appreciated

What I feel? That's great! When I first saw this image in thumbnail form and read the title, I was really impressed. Now that I can see the image more clearly, I am even MORE impressed. The way she's covering herself really makes you think--a lot of people consider the female form to be beautiful, and the girl in this picture looks like she's not really sure hers is. Her expression really interests me--she seems sad, but that could almost be a grin hidden under the hair. The lighting in this piece is really impressive--the blue really sets the mood. Now it DOES make me wonder just what beauty is. That's gonna be on my mind all day--your image makes me THINK.

Ooo. I like the color choice. Blue es veddy soothing, and...kinda depressing. The person looks a bit sad, or confused. ;-; Krie.
