My Father worked for CNR for 41 years so this brings back memories but mostly without all the cables running all over the place and it wasn't in a big city but a REAL small town in the NWT. He was a trainman AND the LAST Conductor back when trains ran with Cabooses attached to the back. I used to ride on the train with my dad and even got to drive one with my dad's help of course It was cathartic to see this pic as memories came flooding back.
