Thanks ^_^ 'KoL' is such a great song, isn't it? There's a new song I think he sings called 'The Man in the Moon,' only it's not an Eiffel 65 song, but it's on Gabry Ponte's solo album. Still, on that one (I REALLY think it's him singing on there) there's no vocorder whatsoever, and you can really hear how amazing his voice is. If you go to Gabryponte.com you can hear part of it. It's a really beautiful song ^-^ The way I did his hand on here by the way was I used my own hand as a reference, so I was holding it in front of my face, all twisted around, with one eye shut trying to draw it LOL ^^ It was kinda tricky, but it worked.
Jeffrey Jey- the Voice of Eiffel 65 by @tarysand (Taryn Sanders)
I've been doing lots of Eiffel 65 fanart lately, and well, here's some more obviously ^^ I love all three E65 members like crazy, but I think Jeffrey is probably my favorite. Not only is he incredibly hot ^^ and has a wonderful sense of humor, but man can this guy sing! I mean damn! Most people have only heard his voice on songs like 'Blue' or 'Move Your Body' where it's run through the vocorder and sounds all computerized, but if you ever heard his natural singing voice (you can kind of hear it in 'King of Lullaby' and in an older song of his from when he was in the band Bliss Team called 'Love is Forever,' a tear-jerker of a song if there ever was one), it's just so indescribably strong and beautiful. A better word would be 'powerful,' and his voice truly can touch your soul. When he sings, it's like he's singing only to you, and as a way to show how much his music has touched me I drew this as a kind of tribute. ~Sigh~ God I love this man ^_^ Heh um, anyhoo I dedicate this to Jeffrey who will always be my King of Lullaby. Taryn, your artwork, once again, amazes me! Your style is such a great mixture of realism and animation! I was so taken in by this piece, not only because of how much i love "King of Lullaby," but because of how you've expressed his characteristics so well in this drawing! The perspective on the right hand is great, as well as superb coloring! =3
