Amira's Du'a Pendent
Amira's Du'a Pendent by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)

"Lord, I was wrong to myself, so forgive me. (No one) forgives sins except You."

A pendent belonging to one of Sandy's characters, Amida Xamj (otherwise known by her Arabic name Amira Al-Faizullah Al-Jinn). She is an Ifritah that lends her magic to one of the main characters in the story by fusing her body and personality with him and increasing his magical abilities. One of her recurring elements is the fact that, of the other Jinn characters, she is the only Muslim. Her connection to the main characters often places her in positions to commit sin, and both her and the shared fusion will occasionally recite the above du'a. The du'a is a Jezbud translation of a du'a seeking forgiveness for sins, recited after committing the sin and for a set period of time afterwards. The pendent is a family heirloom from her grandfather, which explains why the text uses a masculine form in spite of Amida being a woman. Amida, however, recites the du'a with feminine forms, even when she is fused to a male character and the fused personality identifies as male.
The calligraphy is in the image of a Jinni grave as a reminder of what awaits sinners after death. Y'know. Because sins are grave matters. ... I'll see myself out.
