Red XIII or Nanaki, whichever you prefer
Red XIII or Nanaki, whichever you prefer by @goat (Diana)

I personally like to call him Red XIII... I wonder what everyone ended up calling him 500 years later?

ANYWAY. Red, staring at a somewhat dilapidated lifestream vent.. I was aiming for an older age, hence the shaggy fur growth, but ultimately I think I failed... blarg! Did it without reference, so forgive the mistakes.

Somebody pointed out to me he needs a lot more shadowing... yea, and now that's bugging me. all in all, I like it anyway. pratice sketch in oC, with text slapped on it in PSP6.

I like the green shading from the lifestream and the way you did the lifestream itself. Red XIII was always my favourite character. :3

I really like this piece. The way the light reflects off of his fur looks highly realistic. And the neon green lifestream vent looks really interesting because you have all sorts of curvelinear lines repeating in it. The transitions between colour areas on Red's body could use some improvement, they seem too blocky, but other than that, I don't see any flaws. Good job.

Wow! This is really good!

I love the way the green lifestream's light reflects off of Red's coat like that ... the shadowing is really good too. But the Lifestream thing is really awesome!

Really good!
