This is my character Deja Vu o.o Ive have her for about two years.
Also I am aware that the background and coloring suck. ^-^ this is actually my very first background for a picture that I drew.
Even though it sucks Im proud of it o_o
I think you did a good job for your first time. you should practice drawing your own furniture from different point of views. practice makes perfect. I dont know how others do it, but you could try drawing the background first and then adding the char. depending what kinda of background you plan do it, like for a couch or chair.. I would probably draw the chair first. anyways.. nice job.. =D
