True Reflections
True Reflections by @rainshadow (T. "Rain" Willard)

I was partially raised by a little gray Arabian mare named Bibbee. Sadly, she passed away several years ago. My little brother always called her a unicorn, and, secretly, I believed him. "But there's no horn," you say? Well, look closer.

17"x14" Pastel and Colored Pencil on paper. Prints are available.

Touching story and lovely image to go along with it. The muscles are well rendered, as are the cattails and the water, which is particularly hard to do. Kudos for that. The horn is the one of the clearest and most defined parts of the picture, though, which is odd in itself, but the fact that it's a reflection in the water makes it stand out a little too much. Still very nice work. I like the sunset/rise-y shades in the background.
