This is lovely! Your coloring is wonderful. I especially adore her skin; so many colors mixed into one shade. Her face is attractive an your style's nice and original. I also love the water, it seems to be holding her up. The water lillies add such a nice pond feel to it.

The green in the background definitely fits. I usually don't like completely monotone pictures...if you had added in a boring old blue sky with fluffy clouds I would've have liked this so much. It looks like moss. :) Beautiful job!

This is a great picture! I tottaly love her pose and the entire composition is beautifully aranged. Did you use a misture of computer graphics and color pencils to do this, or something else? I love how her face looks, especially the eyes, it gives her a certain facial expression, but I can't place exactly a name for it, almost like that feeling that at least I can't particularly name. I love what you did with her wings, really pretty, and it's a unique idea to have a water sprite with faery wings. Her outfit reminds me of anciet Egypt, so would it be tottaly wrong for me to assume that she is coming out of the Nyle? By the way, i don't think that the background doesn't fit, I think it fits perfectly because if you would have done it blue or something like that your sprite would not have stood out so brilliantly from the background and it would have taken away greately from the impact of the picture. The coloring on this picture is totally amazing, the transparancy of her clothes is very well shown and the way you did the waves is remarcable. it does look like the water is holding her up, but it doesn't look unnatural at all, the water doesn't look stiff or static, on the contrary, it seems to almost show the motion of how the wave mooves with all the foam and droplets. Absolutely amazing job!
