Artfight Attack #1 >:D

The first time I joined was last year, but ultimately wasn’t able to participate due to circumstances. Though I’m late to join this year, I’ve got my second attack in the line art phase and a third in sketches. Backgrounds are staying minimal though, I’m not gonna stress too much. ;v;

I really like the highlights in this piece. Plus, despite you calling the background minimal, I really feel like it’s still effective and cool here.

@KeiSoma: thank you! I was gonna go with a darker lighting using a multiply layer, but then I didn’t know what kind of scene to do so I scrapped it. 😂 I almost stuck him in the woods… Oh yay!! I’ll do more patterned backgrounds then! >:D

The thumbnail cropped almost perfectly just at the top of the head, so those ears were a hecking surprise. :P Honestly, just as I think I've got a handle on your style, you drop something like this that takes it even further beyond. HAV - Fat Pony
