Most people, at first glance, become very aggrivated and note me when they see the wings and the tail: "That's not a vampire". Well...the thing is, in our world, Orchid is what vampires desire to be.

In the realm of the QoD (the online RPG that Orchid plays a main part in), vampires evolve into incubus/succubus, depending upon their strength and ability. Orchid, and her brother Erethkahniel (Kahn) are the rulers of their kind and all those who would be like them.

The most beautiful creature in the Underworld, Orchid is a rare flower...thus the name which was given to her by Lucifer himself. The name given to her by her parents (Asmodeus and Naamah) was Yarethkahnia (Y'ara), but those who use it now are doomed to suffer horrible tortures at her hand. The name is a reminder of past mistakes and she now holds no claim to it.

Despite her species, Orchid is chaste, and believes that no one will ever be worthy of her. Very few know the reasons that she became this way, as when she was elected into the position of Advisor to the King, she was very much the model of her kind. Now, she is the yin to her brother's yang; where Kahn is foppish and lustful, Orchid is serious and reserved...although, she is not without her weaknesses, she is quick to correct her manner so that she may appear as proper and controlled as possible.

Years of development wnt into this character, and her many quirks and idiocynracies are plotted out in well over a dozen notebooks. She has several stories written about her, and many speaches written under her guise...She is a force unto herself, and a character that I truely adore...I certainly hope that others can appreciate her as much as the QoD cast.

She is my creation, though I must give credit to those who helped me to develop her, namely the cast of the QoD itself. Without them, she would never have been able to evolve as she has.
