Hmm...where to start?

Timbre's been around a long time. Since about 5th grade. Ok, story time, kids. Back when I was a chipper young 10 year old, we were told to write a story and illustrate it. At the time, I had just finished reading three very good books: The Call of the Wild, White Fang, and Julie of the Wolves. Guess what was currently my favorite animal?

Bingo. Well, it was a simple enough story, I suppose. About a black-furred wolf, who was given the name 'Timbere,' because it was a play on the word 'Timber.' nods

I still have that book, but I had forgotten most of it, except for the main character, of course. He didn't show up again on paper for a few years. When he did, he'd undergone a little change of his own...now he was mottled black and white, with a funny birthmark over his left eye...
