She grew up in the small mountain village, Kaio. But at the age of 10 she and her 2 years older brother got stuck in a blizzard after finding a magical necklace. She and her brother got speparated and their father lost his life in the blizzard, and so she left Kaio at the age of 18 in order to find her brother again. She always tries to have a smile on her face no matter what. And maybe that's why she always seem to find a friend in almost every person she meets. Her best friend though is Soragiana, and together they've been traveling ever since the very beginning of Katuo's jurney.

To aid her on her jurney she doesn't only have her friends, but she also have the the magic necklace which started the blizzard those years ago and she also has the legendary weapon Myeto Shoire.
