Okay, who is this white wolf, and why only one eye? Slashfang was orginally created for a Redwall online forum. Since there were no wolves found in Mr. Jacques Redwall world, I decided to break the rules, having a long standing respect for these largest of canines. Slashfang was in an early fan-fic of mine, daughter of a royal line, whose members were all mercilessly slaughtered in a war with searats. Only Slashfang survived, losing her right eye and gaining emotional scars. After Slashfang had been around in my imagination for about a year, I paired her with Culla Nightkin, a big black wolf and her lifemate. Visually, Culla is a contrast to Slashfang, black and dark brown where Slashfang is silver and cream colored. A bit later, Bryon Longfurr, Slashfang and Culla's rouge son, came along. Bryon is a sailor, looking for excitement, and a darker soul that the basically 'good' Slashfang and Culla. Slashfang is not exactly my furry self, but she's pretty darn close, she represents my thoughts, and is a vessel for my emotions. And both of my eyes are intact, but I'm blind as a bat (bad metaphor) without my glasses! ;0)
