(This version of my character is based off an AU my friends created)

Shalez, also known as Shalez Alabas, is a shadow demon which is plagued mostly with the sin of gluttony and feasts on fear. He can be summoned by knowing his whole name, so he does not share it willingly.

He will eat other objects and foods if he can get ahold of them, but his main diet is living off the panic his targets go through as he pulls himself from the shadows and advances on them. No matter how much he eats, he always hungers. If he goes too long between feedings, he will become more desperate, more hostile, and more likely to make rash decisions.

Despite his diet, his "profession," and his looks, he is actually not very intimidating demon by Hell's standards. He purposely does not like to kill his prey, and cannot handle when humans cry. If he scares someone to the point of tears, he stops and leaves quickly. Something about it makes him uneasy. He is also easily distracted by human foods, despite how they do nothing to quell his hunger or make him stronger as a demon. The draw of pizza and chicken nuggets are just far too tempting! There's been more than one instance that when the human screamed and ran, he took a few minutes to raid their fridge and pantry before leaving. The poor victim comes back from not only the scare of their life, but an empty fridge.

When not being a menace to humans, he is a menace to other demons. He will tease and pester them, purposely play dumb, and use his size to his advantage. When they get fed up and try to fight him, he slips back into the Shadow Realm with a dumb grin on his double mouths, cackling as he slips away.

Unlike some other demons, he cannot heal from his wounds in Hell, but has to slowly recover in the Shadow Realm, a dimension of the in-between. The dimensions outside look almost fuzzy and greyscaled, but he can still see what goes on as he hides. It makes for some good entertainment.

Shalez tends to wear a little bandana, given to him by Demers. Even when going about dimensions and causing chaos, he refuses to take it off. Though it makes him look even less intimidating.

Shalez is Demer's "Girlfriend' and cares about him deeply. Why he is called his girlfriend is a long story, and Shalez does not mind whatsoever.

Riscor is the closest other demon to Shalez, and probably the closest he has to a friend besides Demers. Despite the fact that they've brutalized each other more than once. He allows Riscor near him though, and has had some of his loyalty bought with food.
