DYOS 10.5: Plans Within Plans

Better Than Expected
Better Than Expected by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)

My 22nd submission to DYOS X.ii. [link]

Good ol' 2010, when CG'd bite your head off for anything. :p Even though I felt the explanation was straightforward, I did anticipate a negative reaction. On the plus side, I didn't expect him to channel his RAEG into Francis Durga, who was mildly amusing, if one-dimensional.

Given the chronology, I think it's pretty clear Durga was modelled after Guba, the major difference being that Durga ends up turning coat over his difference of opinion. Given Guba's role in Operation Flashpoint, it's rather ironic he'd be the sit-at-home type in this one.

Come to think of it, this is the first time Guba's been mildly content with how I'm running the country.

@Warehouse_Rabbit: On the plus side, these guys had fully-modelled vehicle interiors years before the big names, and I think some of them even had working gauges. B-)
