My fifth and final submission to DYOS IX.

With Styles' mountainized molehill destabilizing the entire thread, I hoped to tie this off quickly, getting the US out as quickly as it had barged in (a first in history?). Unfortunately the damage had already been done, and the thread ended shortly hereafter—not, however, by moderator action, but team consensus, as we began crafting the DYOS Consul. A spiritual successor of sorts to the gauntlet thrown down here, it would ultimately be followed up with an even less sensical (but far more coherent) subplot in DYOS 10.

I debated whether to correct Georgy's name in this like I'd tuned up other old pages, but decided it would be entirely becoming of the neocons to mispronounce it on purpose, similar to how even today American news keeps calling it eye-rack.

The officer leading the landing is George Blake, the NATO commander in the original OFP campaign.
