as recently it announces it will shutdowns in late 2024

personally, I uses it as one of Tumblr alternatives that can accepts my deviantart fill-in memes that unfit to be salvaged into elsewhere(read: proper artsite), before I got deplatformed from cohost

I didn't vibe with the userbase, but I liked that it existed and I'm sad it didn't work out. It had a pleasant color palette and nice features.

I got banned from Cohost in summer 2023 (was only a member for some weeks). I found the reason for my ban to be hilarious.

There were only a few posts submitted by other users that I did like. The colors on the website were also nice.

I've heard it mentioned by some people here, but I never checked it out myself. Mad kudos that the staff is doing the hard work of preparing data dumps itself: I can't think of any other site so foresighted in its exit strategy.

I never owned an account there, but I've heard a lot about it. It's apparently an art sharing social media site that allows memes, including but not limited to fill-in memes. I considered opening a website that would serve a similar purpose, but doesn't accept AI art, although it's not currently possible.
