Kiwi Seabird by @Thorvald (El Thorvaldo)
Black-billed gull at Cape Reigna, New Zealand. Chroicocephalus bulleri is New Zealand's only endemic gull species, with most of its population concentrated in the south end of South Island. While classified as "Near Threatened" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, since 2016 the New Zealand Department of Conservation has listed it as "Threatened–Nationally Critical", one step away from outright extinction. New Zealand conservationist Bill Morris calls the black-bill "the world’s rarest gull".
