Never keep a Hisuian Zoroark fur coat as a trophy it will come back to haunt you!

Terrible idea/headcannon came to mind when I saw an image of a fox fur bag. Our world has a fur trade, I’m sure the darker parts of the Pokemon world do to, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the settles of Jubilife village decided to hunt the Hisuian Zoroark for its fur.

The Hunters thought they were doing a ‘good’ thing, the foxes are considered bad/pests and they would get great fur coats from it right? so a win, win for everyone? well those hunters would find out quickly why you don’t kill Hisuian Zoroark for their fur and expect to keep it. They are already part ghost so what’s stopping them from haunting their old coats?

So I can imagine a couple different stories occurring during this terrible time, A hunter killing a Zoroark and turning it into a fur cloak for his wife, only for her to get possessed by the cloak and kill the Hunter husband. Fur rugs coming back to life in the night and killing the hunter’s in their sleep by smothering them to death. Other stories have the Zoroark fur clothing transforming the wearer into a Zoroark and so on. Lots of scary story’s told, some true, some myth who knows, but the hunting for Hisuian Zoroark fur didn’t last very long, but the last known case was an interesting story.

Their had been rumours of a strange coloured Hisuian Zoroark, different from the shiny variant that Professor Laventon was trying to study, while relaying this information to other Team Galaxy members, a visiting Galarian nobleman overheard and decided to seek out the Zoroark and make it into a trophy, what better trophy than something that’s one of a kind? Well he succeeded in tracking down the creature and killing it, then he hid his new 'trophy’ among his belongings as he took a boat back to Galar as he was done with his business in Jubilife Village, not much is known after his departure as the ship never made it back to Galar, most believe like with the other stories that his trophy came back to life and got revenge on him and the unfortunate crew on board, but as the ship has never been found it remains a mystery what happened.

Honestly really like the colours I gave this Hisuian Zoroark, they are based on the fox fur bag that I saw which inspired this pic in the first place….originally I called it 'The Haunted’ but now I’m debating calling it 'Trophy’ though maybe that’s in poor taste?
