A strange Fakemon believed to be of mythical status, as it is said to only show up during certain times of the year. It's said that its goal is to incubate previous dreams and turn them into Pokemon and that all Pokemon hatched by Harengine are said to have their hidden ability.

It appears and disappears in a white fog that seems to come from it smokestacks.

From observations Harengine comes across as 'robotic' and stand-offish to other Pokemon and people, only approaching when the egg it's carrying is close to hatching and handing the egg over to them, before leaving.

Some believe that Harengine is a Fakemon from the future sent to the past as a way to save Pokemon species from going extinct by creating 'Dream Pokemon' to try and help with population growth.
