Chicken - Fates - Peace - Heartbreak by @Kahvinporo

Once in a while, I challenge myself to paint something every day for a week as practice. My aim is to try different brushes, and techniques or just finish something! I paint these works over my own photography, and my aim is not to make a photorealistic replica of the photo - just something that captures the image. I try to use the least amount of time possible to finish each work, typically it takes me maybe 1,5 hours to finish.

Chicken, a really delicious fried chicken meal in a restaurant. Would definitely eat again... This piece also made me realize painting food is fun.

Fates, some owls from one wild bird sanctuary.

Peace, based on an older photo of my family's summer cabin. The sunset is always so beautiful here by the sea.

Heartbreak, during one of my walks I came across these three roses left on the snow in an unusual place. And to this day I wonder who got rejected and by whom... and why.
