So awhile back I got to attend a lecture at my university by Art Speigelman. The lecture was called "Forbidden Images". He talked about the societal influence comics and cartoons have had throughout history, right down to those infamous Danish cartoons of Mohammed. He also talked about the notorious Comics Code Authority, and how it ushered in the era of (his words) Insipid Comics. I came out of that lecture feeling very much like Kyle here (the one in the green pants, for those of you who don't know). Oh god, I've wasted my life. Will I drink alone tonight?

Anyway, I drew this to exorcize my universe's insipid inner demons in the hope for a more interesting future. This doesn't mean my subsequent work is out to cause controversy and deliberately offend people, it just means I'm no longer going to be afraid of that happening. And no more furries because there was really no point to them being furries.

Feel free to give me honest critiques, because god knows I could use them. (Just don't bother pointing out the door hinge, because I'm already aware of that.)
