Ekimian Suwnghen 3 by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)
Ā sian āndhaiz, vais zedhes huwaiz.
Uma werās hume, khai ‘īhaxī axte.
Kxai vejāxaid makūdh.
"Looking down at the sky, dancing among the stars.
"Mother blue orb, I cannot breathe.
"I will be home soon."
~Captain 'Anke Sumav Firamedh, G.C.E., the first Ekimian in space (21 Madhas 1718 K.Y.)
The suwnghen I had posted back here. I decided to take a shot at a calligraphy piece using a two-sided pen and imitating the Abhsiyzh calligraphy style.
The story behind this is that Captain Firamedh was the first Ekimian to ever leave the Jarvian atmosphere (although not the first Jarvian, as other nations had already established space travel long before Ekim). As one of her pastimes was reading and writing poetry, she reported writing this during her three-hour orbit. Her behavior throughout the mission had been mostly subdued and professional, but she had written a few of these on the back of her mission manual during a few lulls in communicating with the National Space Technology Alliance's ground base. The Ekimian Civil Space Agency would later rename the ground base Firamedh Ground Central, which still functions as the hub of space vessel communication for Ekim. This suwnghen, as well as some of her other pieces, are posted in the hallways for tourists.
Firamedh would participate in five missions total, including a five-month stint on Riadhun, the first Ekimian orbital station, and retire a brigadier general. She would also be a joint military advisor who provided input for the establishment of Starlight Command of Ekim. She would die 3 Tahamdhin 1745 due to complications from exposure to microgravity and solar radiation (Jarvanh being closer to its sun than Earth is to Sol).
Aaaaaand I need to note all this down while it's still fresh.
