After 2 months of not drawing anything, and just taking tons of photos of my friends...I came up with this. I decided I wanted to try to turn real people into cartoons. (I was inspired by rocktoons.com) This is my boyfriend Dave, with his bass and hackysack (hot topic hacky sack SCORE!!). The coolest part of it, is that it actually looks like the real Dave (only he wears Nike sneakers, not Converse, and his shorts are kinda different too). For part of his b-day present, I printed this for him on nice paper, signed it, and framed it. and he loved it.
